Overview
Research Edge Series is an open source platform that makes evidence based research methodology accessible to working professionals. It bridges the gap between academic rigour and the real world constraints of tight timelines, imperfect datasets, and stakeholder scrutiny.
What It Covers
The series publishes articles and tools across core research disciplines: qualitative analysis, causal inference, sampling theory, measurement validity, and consumer behaviour research methods. Each piece is grounded in peer reviewed standards but written for practitioners, not textbooks.
Tools & Resources
The platform includes a Claude skill for structured qualitative text analysis using grounded theory coding and thematic analysis, a browser based correspondence analysis tool for creating perceptual maps, and an open source GitHub repository with code, datasets, and workflows.
Intent
Too much research methodology lives behind paywalls or in language that excludes the people who need it most. Research Edge exists to change that. Every article, tool, and dataset is freely available under MIT License, built for the working researcher who needs rigour without the gatekeeping.
